Hi today I am going to tell you what I was doing in hurumanu 3.
We are making water, from making a small explosion not too big to hurt us but big enough to make some moist.
I found this science experminet is really cool cause we get make a small explosion.
I did this work with my friend Kineka
If you have any feed back or what I need to improve please comment it.
Heres my work:
Science Experiment.
Aim:
What we are trying to do is make water.
Hypothesis:
I think it will work, when we put it over the fire, I hope it makes a pop sound.
Equipment:
Hydrochloride Acid, Magnesium, two glass tubes, Beaker,
Method:
First we gently picked up the beaker and put it on the table,
Next we gently picked up two glass tubes one of them is bigger and the other
one is smaller and then placed them in a beaker that was on the table,
Than we gently picked up the Hydrochloride Acid and Magnesium,
And then we put the piece of magnesium,
in the small glass tube, and put the bigger glass tube over top of it upside down.
And now you wait, 3 - 4 minutes.
After 3 or 4, you take the big glass tube, and put the big glass tube over the fire, be aware it may make a loud pop noise.
Observations:
What we saw that it worked and made a pop sound and my hypothesis was correct.
Concussion:
I would recommend this experiment to people that like doing science experiments, or who like making scientific reactions.
Kia ora Teagen, wow this experiment sounds like it was lots of fun to do! You have done a fantastic job of writing it up too. Next time list your equipment/materials in a list:
ReplyDeletetest tube
magnesium
hydrochloric acid
and also in the method you need to number the steps. I really like the way you have used time connectives such as firstly, then, next - great job!
