Kenning Poem

In writing with Mrs mcg we learnt about Kenning Poems. They are an old Nordic style poems they have 8 lines and always has a noun and a word ending "er". I find it hard to get the right words together. I find it easy to make the spider ones. Spider A creepy crawler. A creepy jumper. A insect eater. A wed maker. A weir hider. A stealthy hunter. Life Education -Being a Boss or Leader.

In life Education we are learning about relationships and being with other people. We have done activities in the life Education bus. in a personality test I was a loin. we watched a video where all the people were the same, I learnt it is good to be different because we have are on comment of this. We learnt the difference between a boss and a leader. we had to match up the sentence of a leader to the opposite of a boss.

Science-Change

This term in science, we have been doing experiments and hypothesis.

Science -Change

today for science, we did an experiment and we had to make a hypothesis (guess) what will happen if you put 1/3 part of vinegar in a bottle, and put 2tablespoons of baking soda, then cover it up quickly with a cork. This is my guess.

What do you think will happen? It's gonna to form foam and will fizz, and the cork will fly away

Was your hypothesis right/ wrong? Why? Yes because the cork popped when the foam reached It.

Calendar Art

For calendar art this week we have learnt to blend colours with paint. I really enjoyed painting but I found it difficult to get crisp lines. First we sketch an outline. then we started at the top worked down.

Food Cultures

This term we have been learning about Food Cultures. It is really fun and cool, because we get to eat Egypt food this week. My favorite part of the learning was finding the celebration it was Eid. Eid is a celebration that you do one week after Christmas or Easter.

Badges

This term my writing has been making prototypes for our new school. We bid leader badge and every kid in the whole school will pick the best badges.

Measuret

In math we are learning about measurement. Today we learnt about meters. first we wrote items measurement in the class that we thought were about a meter. Next I measurement them with a ruler. I then had to work out the difference between my guess and the actual measurement.The hard thing was to get the write number and ever thins else was easy.

Paper Aeroplanes- Measurement

In Maths I have been learning about measurement. I have been learning how to estimate and measure. I made a paper plane. My teacher marked out a ranway with a measurement tape. First I had to estmate
how for my plane wound go. I estimated 3m, it actually flew 3.3m, My second throw I estmated 5m. It actually flew 7m.  I found hard to make the paper plan. I enjoj making the plane flew.

Let me go to mars

this term we have be learning about mars for two weeks if you go on to mars you need a ship, lot´s of water, lot´s of food and materials to make buildings on mars.  

Dear Mum

Mr Breach has got an invitation to go to mars with him for the rest of my life.

so you don't have to buy food and stuff for me,

you can have some peace and you can save some money for trips and food,

plus you and Dad can have a date.

measurements All about me

This term we have been learning about measurements in math´s so far I have finest two things.
I fond it hard to Museum my body part with a long ruler to measurements my buddy. 
so I used a tape measure.
I fond it easy to make my person in my Chromebook
We used cm not km because km is long distance 

STEM

This term S.T.E.M we have learning about making bird feeders .
In our process of learning we had to plan on our chromebook and then we had to get the materials for it. Next we had to create it.
I found it hard to put the pieces together because we didn't have hot glue on the first day. When we got hot glue it was better.
I found it enjoyable because I love to make things.

This term we have be doing Time Travel. It is a book with a bunch of activities in it. In my group there is me, Cruz, Ashton and Reuben. It is Math activities.

Today we have been learning adout world war 1. Our teacher Mr Breach handed us out an item from a box. Mr breach gave us a link for the site to find our item and we had to read the story that was there.For most items there were a link to a story.
    

Facts about the moon

Door in the wall

In Literacy I have been learning about vocabulary. We looked at a picture and thought critically about it. We used lots of reflective questions to think about the picture.
I found it hard challenging because  we had to think what was in the small door.

One fantastic evening a door popped up In my wall. But it was small. I told my mum she said fiddlesticks you don’t have a small door in your room. So I said  come back and look mum don’t see the door It’s like the door chose me. When mum went out of my room a fairy came in she put pixie dust on me and I shrank. Mum said it's time for dinner I bet mum didn't see me coming down, She was a monster because she was so big and she made me go on the side of the wall. Because mum was running so that made me hit the wall . And then door opened I went in the door and there was a Bunch off golden when I went In the door closed and I was stuck for an hour. Then the fairy came back and got me out of the small door then I went to sleep.

Saving the Maui Dolphin

This week we have been learning about Maui Dolphin and there are only 55 left in the wild. My poster is about the dangers they face.

Being Responsible With Chromedook

In Cybersmart I have been learning about being respansble with chromedook. First we put our prior knowledge on a padlet. Then we buddied up and created a poster adout being responsible with chromedook. I found it hard because we had to think of a lot of words.
