- Petri Dish.
- skittles.
- warm water.
- small beaker
Instructions:
- get the equipment.
- spread out the skittles around the edge.
- gently pour the warm water into the middle of the petri dish.
- observe what happens.

Why did the colour leave the skittles?
It because there colour haves sugar in it and water dissolves sugar so the colour will make the colour go into the water.
Why did the colours not mix?
Its because the skittles make a water barrier to stop the colour from mixing. the skittles have different density and sizes, that is why the colours dont .mix
