 Hi today i am going to show a tiny bit of my reading plus goals.

Milk Plastic

Aim:

I want to find out how to make plastic milk.

Method

Equipment-

• Milk (1 cup)
• pot / microwaveable container
• white vinegar
• paper towel
• spoon
• Mug
• measuring spoon (teaspoon)

Instructions-

1. Get the equipment
2. Pour 1 cup of milk in the pot or microwaveable container.
3. Heat the milk in the microwave or on the stove until its steaming.
4. add 4 teaspoons of white vinegar into a mug.
5. add the milk into the mug with the white vinegar.
6. stir the mixture with a spoon.
7. stack 4 layers of paper towel on a surface that is safe to get damp.
8. scoop out the curds with a spoon and place them on the paper towels.
9. fold the paper towels over the curd and press down to absorb the excuses liquid.
10. colour, shape or mold the dough as you like.
11. put all your creations on a paper towel and let them dry over night.

Questions-

What is casein?

the main protein present in milk and (in coagulated form) in cheese. It is used in processed foods and in adhesives, paints, and other industrial products.

What is casein used for?

Casein is a slow-digesting dairy protein that people often take as a supplement. It releases amino acids slowly, so people often take it before bed to help with recovery and reduce muscle breakdown while they sleep. Several studies have shown it helps boost muscle growth, along with a ton of other benefits.

Edible Slime

 Aim:

I want to find out how to make edible slime.

Method:

Equipment-

Equipment-

• Popsicle stick
• Marshmallows
• paper cup
• icing sugar
• microwave
• vegetable oil

Instructions

1. get the equipment 
2. Wash your hands 
3. microwave the marshmallows for 10 -  15 seconds.
4. put a drop of vegetable oil in the marshmallows
5. stir the the marshmallows, till a slime looking.

Skittle Colours

 Aim:
I want to find out what happens when you put skittles in water.

Method:

Equipment:

• Petri Dish.
• skittles.
• warm water.
• small beaker

Instructions:

1. get the equipment.
2. spread out the skittles around the edge.
3. gently pour the warm water into the middle of the petri dish.
4. observe what happens.

Discussion:

Why did the colour leave the skittles?

It because there colour haves sugar in it and water dissolves sugar so the colour will make the colour go into the water.

Why did the colours not mix?

Its because the skittles make a water barrier to stop the colour from mixing. the skittles have different density and sizes, that is why the colours dont .mix

How to be Normal

Hi today I am going to tell you about what I am doing in outstanding.
Outstanding is a subject that is about bullying and protest that i have done.

I had to read a story called How to be Normal, the story is about a girl named Charley, Charley gets picked on when she in class.

I had to answer questions about the story, there was 12 questions in total.

here is my work:

1. Charley banged into Michaelas desk.

2. Charley is trying to change.

3. That she gets picked on at class, I know this because it says in the story that someone threw a piece of chewed up paper.

4. She is angry with her because Amy makes a choking noise, then speaks up. “Don’t be a sook, Michaela.”

5. Charley heart pounds, Charley’s so angry she can’t concentrate, Charley might never draw anything this good again.

1. Charley screech because of her classmate bullying her.

2. Amy apologises for making charley angry but charley does not accept the apology.

3. Michaela glazed at Charley intently.
